Earth visualises our planet's formation and long unfolding — from the collision of Tellus and Theia that formed the Moon, through the emergence of stable continents and the first oceans, and on into the slow drift of a living world. Somewhere in that passage, almost imperceptibly, the planet stirs and fills — glimpsed rather than dwelt on, a horizon crossed in passing. Planetary formation and deep geological time, rendered at a scale where even life is just one more change in the land.
